Day 1: Drive Hanoi – Ha Giang

Activities:

8:00: You will be met up with Trekking Ha Giang team at your hotel in Hanoi and transferred to Ha Giang via Tuyen Quang province. We arrive in Ha Giang around early afternoon. We will check into a local village house and have lunch. After lunch, we will have a short walk around this village. Meeting and talking with local villagers will help you understand more the culture of the Tay ethnic group. Dinner will be provided at the village. Overnight in a stilt house.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Yen Minh

Activities:

After breakfast in the stilt house, we will have a short visit of the Ha Giang museum before we continue our drive towards Dong Van stone plateau. We stop en route for a short walk through the hill of pine and visit a Red Dao of village. Lunch en route. We arrive Yen Minh town around late afternoon. Check into a local guesthouse for overnight.

Day 3: Yen Minh – Dong Van – Meo Vac

Activities:

8:00 we continue our road trip to Dong Van karst plateau. A stop will be made en route for visiting a Hmong village in Lung Cam, and the residence of the Vuong family, still called “Palace of Hmong King”.After lunch and short rest, we continue our drive towards Meo Vac town. We make some stops en route for admiring the scenery and taking some photos of Ma Pi Leng pass. Arriving in Meo Vac, we check into a local hotel and take a rest. Then if time permit, we will have the opportunity to visit a village of Hmong near the town.Dinner and overnight in Meo Vac.

Day 4: Meo Vac – Ha Giang

Activities:

After breakfast, we start our road trip back to Ha Giang town. Upon our arrival in Quan Ba, Yen Minh, we will make a stop in Lung Tam village, a Hmong village where you will learn how local villagers weave brocades. After lunch at Quan Ba, we continue our trip back to Ha Giang. Check into a stilt house for dinner and overnight.

We really enjoyed our tour with Trekking Hagiangcompany. Our driver was safe and prompt, and our trekking guide, MrTay, was kind, knowledgeable, and funny. We did the 5-Day 4-Night tour which was aamazing more than I expected. I would love to try another longer tour next time because the views in Hagiang were very gorgeous. We felt in love with the natural Northwest mountainousafter the hike (a serious highlight) andMeoVac – Dong Van are absolute must see when you visit Hagiang. Our stays were spotless and comfortable, the hill tribe people were super friendly. Highly recommend Trekking Hagiang!

"Experience as the villagers"

Our short days tour brought us to new experiences with the hill tribe villagers in Ha Giang. The tour mainly travelled by car and on feet as well what made us enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at those villages we passed by. We lived like the ethnic people thanks to the well-arranged accommodation throughout the trip. Moreover, we enjoyed most of the local foods and learnt local language taught by our tourguide. He’s not only fluent English speaking but also local language helping us to have a great communications with every villagers we visited on the way. Had a great time with this travel agent. "Visiting most of the minority group in the North"

I have read many articles about the minority group in Vietnam,however, I was so surprised when visiting them and experiencing their culture. Each of ethnic group had their own specific features helping us to recognize them easily. I found them so interesting that I hope I could have more conversation with them whenever I visited. Thanks to this well-organized trip, I had chance to meet most of the ethnic in the North such as Tay, Dao, Lo Lo etc. Highly recommend this tour for whoever would like to discover the Northern ethinic culture.

We’d like to say thanks to our tourguide and driver on the trip started from 17th May to 21st May 2016. We had an fantastic time and memorable vacation trip in Viet Nam. We appreciated your helps along the way from the beginning until the last day. You were being too kind to us what made this trip out of expectations. This cultural tour brought us to the real life of the Northern ethnic minority people. We visited variable hill tribe village and their own daily life. We fell in love with their costumes.I hope that I could have chance to be back Viet Nam someday so that I could learn more about Vietnam as well as have more Vietnamese friend. There was only one thing I felt uncomfortable in this trip was the road up to the mountain because of the heavy rain blocked off the way, however, thanks to the tough driver, we made it easily and arrived our places safely. Once again I wanna send my best regards to your crews making this trip become fabulous.
